Is the weather warm year-round?
Yes, our temperatures here remain in the 80s – 90s all year long.
Can we keep our catch?
Yes, there is no limit on how much fish you can keep. You can keep as much or as little as you would like.
Will the Captain clean my fish?
Yes, the Captain will clean, filet, and bag your fish for you.
Do any restaurants cook fresh catch?
Yes, we have several restaurants that will cook your catch. Ask your Captain for suggestions based on where you are staying.
Do you provide food and drinks?
We provide a large cooler with ice and bottled water. You are free to bring any other non-alcoholic or alcoholic drinks or snacks you would like. We have a great deli at the marina called “An Hour Late” that makes breakfast and sandwiches and also sells snacks and drinks (individual, 6 packs, and 12 packs).
What should I bring?
Sunscreen (non-aerosol only), sunglasses, towel, hat, cash to tip the Captain, and a great attitude!
Is it rough?
Everyday is different, some days are calm, while others are quite sporty. Our Captains do their best to choose your fishing location off of the seas and wind for that day to ensure the safest and calmest ride possible.
What if I get seasick?
We always recommend taking a Dramamine the night before and hour before your trip to help anyone that is prone to seasickness.
Can you pick-up at my hotel/villa/cruise ship dock?
Unfortunately, no. Due to insurance, where the fishing grounds are located, safety and cleaning fish after the trip, we only depart from and return to the dock. St. Thomas: Compass Point Marina, St. John: National Park Dock, Lovango Cay: Main Dock
Will you adjust the charter time for my cruise ship port times?
Unfortunately, no. Adjusting times for a half-day trip causes us to lose another potential trip that day due to the overlapping times.
How far are you from the cruise ship dock?
There are two docks: Crown Bay 25 minutes and WICO 15 minutes, depending on traffic.
What if I have more than 6 people?
We are happy to arrange tandem charter for you with multiple boats to accommodate any group over 6.
